The murals of Civitacampomarano: a journey through the village of street art
A path dedicated especially to the youngest, daughters and sons of Molise’s native scattered all over the world. Civitacampomarano is a village that exists and endures thanks to the desire to rediscover its roots. It was 2014 when Alice Pasquini, in art AliCè, was invited by the municipality to intervene in the village. The artist was inspired by period photographs of the village, where his grandfather also lived, and painted numerous subjects on the old doors. Within a couple of years, the first edition of the street art festival (CVTà Street Fest) was born, under the artistic direction of Alice Pasquini herself, attracting numerous national and international artists to draw on the walls and doorways of the village.
Experience the village of murals with experienced local guides who will not only take you on an exciting tour but also explain the details, background, and strong connections.
