Festivities in honor of the Patron Saint Mercury and the Festival of Arèpas

For the past 10 years thesocio-cultural association Saint Mercury committee, given the massive presence of Italian-Venezuelans and Italian-Argentines in Toro in particular and Molise in general, has organized the Sagra delle Arèpas.

This takes place with the performance of local and Italian-Venezuelan artists and folk groups, as well as Latin American music dance nights that attract a considerable flow of Italian-Venezuelan and Italian-Argentine tourists. In some cases, it allowed their overseas relatives to return to Italy and visit Toro and Molise on the occasion of this holiday held on August 24 each year as part of the Toro in Festa.

The event promotes local food and wine and its connection with Latin countries, enjoying considerable success.
