From milk to mozzarella cheese: experience in a cheese factory
The fresh green pastures of upper Molise, so beloved by the herds, make it possible to make cheeses, both fresh and aged, that are genuine and intensely flavored.
Thus was born the ancient and excellent art of cheese making in Molise and especially that of the mountainous areas as it is, for example, Agnone.
From mozzarella to caciocavallo, to stracciata, ricotta and many others, there are many types of cheeses produced in the region that can be tasted, even directly on the farm.
The“Dairy Melodies” experience gives theopportunity to immerse oneself in the authenticity of a dairy farm and participate in milk processing and experience the production of typical cheeses under the expert guidance of local master cheesemakers from a Molise dairy.
It will end on a high note with a tasting of a selection of Molise cheeses to explore the different nuances of flavor that only tradition can offer.
